The social security system continues to improve. Pension benefits for enterprise retirees have seen a steady increase. The standardized pilot program for national medical insurance services is progressing smoothly, with long-term care insurance and outpatient mutual-aid being successfully implemented. Two-way direct settlement for medical treatment across regions has been achieved. The number of industrial safety accidents and deaths decreased by 10.9% and 11.1% respectively. A comprehensive "call-and-response" disaster warning mechanism reaching grassroots levels has been established. The "You Choose, We Test" food safety program has been promoted nationwide. Social governance has been continuously strengthened. Various illegal activities and crimes are vigorously cracked down on, and the fight against organized crime and evil forces is carried out with strong efforts.
