Qingjiangpu District is located at the Yangtze River downstream. Four rivers surround Qingjiangpu territory, thus the name Qingjiangpu was originated. It is under the jurisdiction of Huai’an City, the birthplace of Zhou Enlai, south gate of the main urban area of Huai’an and also the core area of an important key city（Huai’an）in North Jiangsu supported by Jiangsu Provincial CPC Committee and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. It administers 5 towns, 4 streets and covers an area of 277 km² with a population of 350,000. In recent years, we have achieved rapid economic and social development by grasping various opportunities and by adhering to the spirit of reform, innovation and exploration.
