time:2026-10-10

During the National Day holiday, Huai'an ignited a citywide shopping spree with over 100 consumption-promoting activities and more than 10 million yuan in public-benefit subsidies. Statistics show that during the National Day holiday, 22 key commercial and trade enterprises across the city generated 400 million yuan in sales, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.

Policy support has driven robust growth in bulk consumption. Huai'an introduced special subsidies for new automobile purchases, while counties and districts concurrently organized exhibitions and offered additional incentives, effectively stimulating auto consumption through a coordinated policy mix. At the Huaiyin District Auto Carnival, 628 vehicles were sold on-site, with transaction values exceeding 75 million yuan, up 23.6% year on year. At the same time, the trade-in program for home appliances and digital products continued to advance. In the first five days of the holiday, a total of 8.94 million yuan in subsidy funds was used, up 97% compared to normal days.

Coordinated promotions across commercial districts invigorated citywide consumer vitality. Municipal and county authorities distributed tiered consumer vouchers for supermarkets and department stores through multiple channels. Major commercial districts combined stackable discounts and spending rewards with National Day-themed performances and scenic displays, driving revenue growth across various business formats. Various locations across the city launched invoice lottery campaigns covering retail, dining, and lodging sectors, attracting over 38,000 participants and effectively bolstering consumer confidence.

Distinctive settings empowered the upgrade and integration of consumption. Various regions created youth-oriented, immersive consumption settings such as themed markets, trunk markets, and cultural gatherings. Featured events like the Xuyi Crayfish Music Carnival and the Hongze Lake Chinese Hairy Crab Cultural Tourism Consumption Season, paired with online livestream group buying and offline market experiences, drove substantial increases in local visitor footfall, commercial sales, and hotel occupancy, bringing vibrant energy to the dining sector.
