Parks in Downtown Huai'an Bustle with Visitors During the National Day Holiday

During the National Day holiday, major parks in downtown Huai'an were elaborately decorated and featured a variety of activities, attracting more than 230,000 visits over the seven-day period.

On the afternoon of October 7, in the square at Bochishan Park, a hundred Five-Star Red Flags (the national flag of the People's Republic of China) fluttered in the breeze, while an endless stream of citizens took photos in front of themed landscape installations. According to statistics from the landscaping department, Huai'an's five major parks received a total of 230,365 visits during the National Day holiday, including 111,569 at Bochishan Park, 52,074 at Chuxiu Garden, 30,379 at the Ancient Yellow River Ecological Folk Custom Park, 18,057 at the zoo, and 18,286 at the Rose Garden.

To welcome visitors, major parks in downtown Huai'an hosted a total of 23 special events during the National Day holiday. The zoo rolled out activities such as cute pet fun float parades, animal feeding, and cultural parent-child study tours, and distributed holiday souvenirs to visitors; the Ancient Yellow River Ecological Folk Custom Park launched the "Autumn in a Sea of Flowers: A Date at Liuwan" 2026 Liushuwan Golden Autumn Flower Viewing Event; Bochishan Park hosted four National Day performances and seven market events under the theme "Celebrate the Grand Birth of Our Nation in a Prosperous Era"; Chuxiu Garden staged the "Celebrating National Day, Showcasing Our Charm" series of performances, adding festive color with a cultural feast.
