Since the beginning of this year, Huai'an has continuously advanced the "intelligent upgrading, digital transformation, and network connectivity" initiative for enterprises, driving the accelerated upgrading of traditional manufacturing enterprises and comprehensively unleashing new momentum for intelligent manufacturing across production workshops, technological processes, and management systems.

In August this year, Jiangsu Suyi Group was recognized as an Advanced Smart Factory of Jiangsu Province. By intelligently transforming workshops, optimizing production layouts, and building an intelligent management platform, the company has established a digital collaboration pipeline across the entire production process. This upgrade significantly enhanced its production efficiency, with equipment utilization increasing by 12.5%, the product defect rate dropping by 60%, and operating costs per unit of output value decreasing by 9.51%. The company's current output value has reached 160 million yuan. Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen its intelligent upgrading and digital transformation, solidifying the foundation for intelligent manufacturing development.

The transformation practices of benchmark enterprises have inspired micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Huai'an to benchmark against them and pursue upgrades. Huai'an Junbao Hydraulic Machinery has steadily expanded its domestic and overseas markets, with orders and production capacity continuing to climb, aiming to complete a production output of 200,000 units in the second half of the year. Jiangsu Hongsheng Packaging has established a full-chain intelligent control system, achieving intelligent management and control across production, warehousing, and logistics. It has improved production efficiency by over 30%, stabilized the product yield rate at 99.8%, and comprehensively elevated its overall operational efficiency.

Since this year, Huai'an has deeply implemented a special campaign for "intelligent upgrading, digital transformation, and network connectivity" in manufacturing. A cumulative total of 389 enterprises have been recommended to apply for Advanced Smart Factory recognition; free AI manufacturing diagnoses have been completed for 45 enterprises; and 62 typical industrial AI scenarios have been released, 38 of which have been deployed. Meanwhile, the city has continuously improved its digital infrastructure by adding 955 new 5G base stations, and three enterprises were selected as typical cases of 5G factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, demonstrating strong growth momentum in the city's intelligent manufacturing industry.
