In recent years, Huai'an has focused on the renovation of old residential compounds, addressing the urgent needs and concerns of residents. It has concentrated on fixing weak links, optimizing functions, and improving quality to rejuvenate a group of old residential compounds.
The renovation project for Yuhuayuan Zone C in Huaiyin District covers a total construction area of 152,000 square meters, including 38 residential buildings, with a planned total investment of 20 million yuan. Currently, the rainwater and sewage network separation project has taken the lead in starting on-site construction, and other renovation tasks will be gradually advanced according to the schedule.
At the same time, several old residential compounds in Lianshui County are also accelerating their upgrading efforts. The Damingcheng renovation project is currently upgrading rainwater and sewage pipes, with 65% of the work completed. Once the pipe network is fully connected, the project will move on to processes such as road hardening, and the entire project is expected to be completed by mid-September.
In recent years, Huai'an has always prioritized the renovation of old residential compounds to improve people's well-being. Adhering to a people-oriented approach, it has coordinated the renewal of infrastructure, improvement of the living environment, and perfection of supporting functions. Through scientific planning, targeted policies, and steady implementation, it has driven a group of old residential compounds to gradually achieve appearance renewal and functional upgrades. This year, the city is renovating a total of 13 old residential compounds. Construction has fully commenced on-site, benefiting 7,244 households. The focus is on solving common issues reported by residents, such as roof leaks, damaged roads, and sewer blockages. Additionally, new car parking spaces and electric bicycle charging piles will be added to address functional deficiencies in old residential compounds, effectively enhancing the residents' sense of gain, happiness, and security.
