Steady and Rapid Progress in Huai'an's Next-Generation Information Technology Industry
time:2026-06-10

In recent years, Huai'an has focused on the next-generation information technology industry, continuously strengthening, supplementing, extending, and consolidating industrial chains. The industry has demonstrated a positive momentum of steady growth and improved quality.

Industrial scale has achieved a significant breakthrough. In 2025, the output value of the city's next-generation information technology industry reached RMB 106.886 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.29%, joining the ranks of 100-billion-yuan industrial clusters. From January to March in 2026, 390 enterprises above the designated size in this industry achieved an output value of RMB 25.73 billion, up 20.4% year-on-year. Specifically, the output value of the PCB industry was RMB 5.03 billion, up 20.9%; electronic components reached RMB 3.38 billion, up 9.9%; integrated circuits reached RMB 580 million, up 89.6%; new displays reached RMB 1.1 billion, up 19.3%; photovoltaic cells reached RMB 7.73 billion, up 14.0%.

The leading effect of industry giants was prominent. From January to March, the top 20 companies in Huai'an's next-generation information technology industry contributed approximately 70% of the total output value. Avary Holding's Huai'an Park achieved an output value of RMB 3.69 billion, up 19.8%. Tenpower Lithium and Testron Technology saw growth of 51% and 49%, respectively. High-growth enterprises rose rapidly.

Industrial agglomeration continued to deepen. The PCB sector has formed a complete industrial chain system. At the same time, integrated circuits have begun to establish a chip industry ecosystem. Electronic components now cover multiple counties and districts, and new displays are driving the coordinated development of local enterprises. Characteristic industrial clusters essentially take shape.

Major projects were implemented at an accelerated pace. As of the end of March, the city had 87 projects under construction in the next-generation information technology industry, with individual investments exceeding RMB 50 million. These projects represent a total planned investment of RMB 58.4 billion, including 19 projects exceeding RMB 1 billion each, strategically targeting high-end sectors such as semiconductors, new displays, and AI electronic materials.
