Huai'an Hosts Joint Graduation Ceremony for Class-2026 University Students

On May 21, the Joint Graduation Ceremony for the Class-2026 University Students in Huai'an, themed "Staying in Huai'an, Aiming for the Future," was held at the Huai'an Science and Technology City of Zhen Ding Tech Group, celebrating over 32,000 graduates from local universities. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee; Gu Kun, Mayor of Huai'an; Lin Yihong, General Manager of Avary Holding (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.; Li Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary of the CYLC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, attended the event.

In his speech, Shi Zhijun stated that by making the most of their youth in Huai'an, students have developed a strong character defined by ideals, responsibility, resilience, and hard work, which will serve as their most steadfast support in the future. Huai'an has achieved growth rates for major economic indicators that rank among the top in Jiangsu Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and has successfully established Huai'an University. He expressed his hope that students would cherish their dreams, embrace innovation, and strive for breakthroughs. He extended a warm welcome for them to stay, start businesses, and take root in Huai'an, evolving from "youthful acquaintances" of the city into its "partners" to create a better tomorrow together.

Li Xiaoming and other leaders presented awards to representatives of the New Era Youth Pioneer and the national "Two Reds and Two Excellences" (outstanding CYLC units and members). They also distributed gift packs to young representatives residing in youth apartments. The event also saw the launch of version 2.0 of the "Huai'an Gift" housing program and an upgraded graduation gift package. Certificates were awarded to outstanding graduate representatives. Furthermore, the lists of "Talent Source" academic departments and "Talent Magnet" enterprises were released to recognize those that provide and attract graduates to stay in Huai'an. The event featured themed videos, growth records, sharing sessions, original songs, and medleys, fully showcasing the students' high spirits and youthful vitality.
