On May 14–15, the "Jiangsu Provincial Practical Exchange and Training Course on Autism Children Rehabilitation Skills" and the "Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) (Primary) Training Course" offered by the China Association of Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons were held in Huai'an. The training courses deeply integrated online theoretical instruction with offline practice, focusing on core content such as rehabilitation-education integration for children with autism, disability assessment, transition assessment, and practical quality improvement. Delivered by a team of well-known domestic experts, the courses brought together rehabilitation teachers and early childhood educators from all over the country to learn together and promote mutual progress.

In addition, the 4th Huai'an Skills Competition for Education and Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs will be held on May 30. About 240 front-line rehabilitation teachers from all designated rehabilitation institutions across the city will participate in the competition. The competition is aimed at promoting the continuous improvement of the technical skills of rehabilitation professionals.

In recent years, the Huai'an Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation has continuously strengthened the rehabilitation and support network for children with autism, constructed a three-tiered screening and intervention system, and achieved the full coverage of standardized rehabilitation institutions across counties. Relying on various platforms such as medical insurance coverage, skills competitions, and inclusive education contact points, Huai'an continuously optimizes full-cycle rehabilitation services so that every child with special needs can enjoy scientific and high-quality rehabilitation guidance and grow steadily towards a brighter future.
