The 6th Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, themed "Business Convergence at the Hub, Intelligent Leadership for the Future," opened on May 15. Hu Guangjie, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee, delivered a speech. The following guest representatives delivered speeches: Lin Yihong, General Manager of Avary Holding (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.; Cao Guorong, Vice President of China Jushi Co., Ltd.; Chen Kai, Chairman of Jiangsu Azure Corporation; and Sun Yize, Professor at the College of Mechanical Engineering of Donghua University. Officials from relevant provincial departments, along with over 200 prominent overseas Chinese leaders and business representatives, participated in the event. Huai'an Mayor Gu Kun gave a presentation on the city and its industries.

The Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention consistently leverages the role of overseas Chinese as a bridge and gathers strengths through business initiatives. It has become an important platform for linking global Chinese business resources and gathering efforts, wisdom, and strength of overseas Chinese. It has built a bridge of solidarity and business prosperity for overseas Chinese leaders and entrepreneurs to connect with Jiangsu and settle down in Huai'an, and has injected strong momentum into promoting the opening up, cooperation, and coordinated development of the Huaihe River region.

Previously, Huai'an had successfully hosted five editions of the Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention. The previous five editions fostered new achievements through the region's friendship with overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, yielded high-scoring results in open cooperation, and accelerated the development of Huai'an, effectively helping Huai'an City upgrade its industrial structure, accelerate its economic development, and enhance its overall contribution.

This year's Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention emphasized industrial chain collaboration, technological innovation, and the introduction of high-end talent, resulting in 83 industrial projects, 32 technology projects, and 12 talent projects.
