On January 30, the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Huai'an held city-wide capital increase and production expansion and exchange activities for foreign-funded and Taiwan-funded enterprises. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee, had face-to-face exchanges with representatives of entrepreneurs, sharing deep friendship, seeking common development plans, and discussing a better future. Mayor Gu Kun emphasized at the exchange meeting that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on new industrialization, refine and implement the overall requirements of the Provincial CPC Committee to "maintain good momentum and enhance contribution," and the specific arrangements of the Provincial Government on supporting enterprises to increase capital and expand production. Huai'an City will always adhere to the clear orientation of "prioritizing projects and valuing the environment," further strengthen the dual-wheel drive of project introduction and training and scientific and technological innovation, and make efforts in investment promotion, selection, capital increase, and expansion. The city will accelerate the formation of a new pattern of high-quality development with "stock quality improvement, incremental expansion, speed increase, and efficiency increase."

At the exchange meeting, 14 participating entrepreneurs shared their experiences of investing and starting businesses in Huai'an, their plans to increase capital and expand production, and discussed ideas and made suggestions focusing on cultivating an innovative foundation, improving industrial supporting facilities, ensuring resource elements, coordinating the development of the industrial chain, and integrating industry, academia, research, and application.

Gu Kun listened carefully and took notes while interacting with entrepreneurs from time to time. He sincerely thanked everyone for their long-term trust in Huai'an and for taking root in Huai'an.
