The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the inaugural list of Famous Chinese Consumer Brands, featuring the Huai'an-based corporate brand Canasin alongside eight other esteemed corporate brands from Jiangsu Province, including Bosideng, Hengli, Yadea, and HLA.
The newly released list showcases a total of 93 corporate brands—categorized into historical classics, outstanding contemporary products, and emerging trendsetters—along with 43 regional brands. Jiangsu Province leads the nation with nine corporate brands and two regional brands making the list.
Established in 1994, Jiangsu Canasin Weaving specializes in R&D, sales, and service in the field of high-end textiles for hotels and home use. Over more than 30 years of rapid growth, the group has consistently ranked first in the Asia-Pacific market for textiles used in star-rated hotels for over a decade, capturing a remarkable 60% market share in China's five-star hotel sector. In 2024, the group achieved a sales revenue exceeding RMB 2.2 billion, positioning it among the top private enterprises in the city.
In recent years, the Huai'an Bureau of Industry and Information Technology has enhanced the regulatory management of the textile industry to accelerate its transformation and upgrading, actively promote the integrated development of industrial, innovation, talent, and capital chains, and drive the development of green products, green factories, and green supply chains, thereby expanding brand influence and enhancing corporate competitiveness. To date, Huai'an City has established two province-level green factories and 14 city-level benchmark enterprises within the textile sector.
The Huai'an Bureau of Industry and Information Technology aims to further promote product innovation, market competitiveness, brand influence, and cultural empowerment, with a commitment to cultivating more high-quality brands that are distinctively regional and recognized within their industries.
