The Huai’an E-commerce Modern Logistics Park was still busy even at 4 am on Thursday, and all express cargo at the park would be sent to more than 70 large and medium-sized cities, like Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin, within 24 hours.
Located on a site overlapping the Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai Sea Rim economic circles, the Huai’an district in Huai’an city, Jiangsu province boasts the regional advantages of being at the intersection of water, aviation, land and railway transport routes. Therefore, it started to develop its modern logistics industry in 2013.
To date, more than 80 percent of domestic express logistics enterprises in China have set up their bases in the district. The district’s logistics park has exerted its influence on an area that covers a radius of over 250 kilometers from the park’s center and involves a population of 80 million, becoming the unique express logistics gathering and distributing center in Jiangsu and one of the express logistics hubs in China.
In addition, the district also has built an e-commerce public service center and an entrepreneurship incubation center to provide one-stop services for e-commerce enterprises in technology, data, incubation and brand promotion. The logistics park is now developing its B2B cross-border e-commerce platform to promote e-commerce enterprises’ import and export business.
