The special exhibition, Zhou Enlai and Nanchang Uprising, was held in Huai’an on July 30.
The exhibition used pictures, diagrams and videos to show the historical background, decision process and experience of the Nanchang Uprising that was initiated by the Chinese Communist Party in 1927. It also shows the great course of the Communist force arduously heading south to Guangdong after it seized Nanchang.
Huai'an also held a forum titled “Innovation and development- the forum of the leader of Nanchang Uprising museum director” and an academic conference on “Zhou Enlai and Nanchang Uprising”.
Born in Huai'an, Zhou Enlai was the first premier of the People's Republic of China.
