The first Paris–Brest–Paris (PBP) China 1,200 km Challenge and Tour of Hongze Lake 300 km qualifying trials will be held on Sept. 2.
The event is also a cooperation between the ninth session of the "Tour of Hongze Lake Cycling Competition" and the French PBP.
The French PBP is a classic riding event subordinated by one of the world's three largest cycling organizations, Audax Club Parisien (ACP). PBP began in 1891, making it the world's oldest, largest and most influential riding event. Tour of Hongze Lake 300 km qualifying trials will be divided into male and female groups, and the outstanding contestants will qualify for the PBP 1,200 km Cycling Challenge.
