Shaohu Park
time:2018-02-02
Located at the northwest of Huai'an city, Shaohu Park, literally Spoon Park, got its name because its outlook resembles a bending spoon. The park is dotted with tower, pavilions, bridges, and even a giant bronze bell. A tablet garden was constructed inside the park, covering an area of 600 sq meters and collecting over 60 tablets. Those early ones can be dated back to the Tang Dynasty.
Wentong Tower is in the northwest of Shao Lake. It was first built in Tang Dynasty, but after an earthquake the tower only left two storeys. Now, it is octagonal seven-storey, pavilion-style pagoda.
