On September 26th, the General Administration of Sport and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China jointly issued twelve premium sports travel routes for the 2023 National Day holiday. Huai’an’s “Hundred-Li Art Corridor” Route along the Great Canal has been included and is the only one in Jiangsu province that made it to the list.

Taking Baima Lake Tourist Resort as the central node, this route spans approximately 136 kilometers from north to south, featuring a historical and cultural rock-climbing tour in Huai’an District, an energetic cycling tour in the White Horse Lake Eco-tourism Area, and a refreshing hiking tour in the forest oxygen bar of the Jinhu County. The route includes regular sports activities such as basketball, football, tennis, badminton, swimming, handball, trampoline, karting, cross-country, motorcycle, equestrian, rock climbing, aviation sports, speedboat, motorboat, chess, fishing, hiking, and RV travel.
