Jinhu County Opens Chinese Peony Culture and Tourism Festival
Jinhu County in Jiangsu Province launched the first Chinese Peony Culture and Tourism Festival at Chenqiao Garden on April 28.
Covering 950 mu (63 hectares), the garden grows 20 varieties of flowering Paeonia lactiflora, also known as Chinese peony. As an agricultural site developed amid the county's effort to attract investment, the garden also integrates herbal plantation, scenic landscape, ecology and tourism.
