As part of the 5th Huai'an Merchants Summit, over 100 guests, including directors of Huai'an Chamber of Commerce from various regions, business leaders and entrepreneurs who invested in Huai'an attended a symposium on the city's development and rural revitalization on April 7.
In the symposium, more than 10 business leaders talked frankly and offered suggestions on issues including economic and social development and implementing the rural revitalization strategy. They gave high praises to the progress Huai'an made in recent years, saying the city's transportation infrastructure has benefited enterprises a lot and the development potential is also huge.
Cai Lixin, mayor of Huai'an, said the city is currently in an accelerated pace of taking a new path toward industrialization and urbanization. The industrial transformation and upgrading, infrastructure construction, poverty alleviation and development effort in the city mean a great demand for investment as well as business opportunity. Cai wished business people could play active roles in the new round of growth in Huai'an and bring big, good projects back to settle in their hometown.
