Three Japanese Fans Visit Huai'an for Panda's Birthday
Three Japanese fans made a special trip to a zoo in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province to celebrate the birthday of giant panda Long Bang on Sept. 8.
Right after the zoo opened at 8:00, the visitors came and stayed at the panda hall the whole morning, said keeper Zhang Yonghong. All of them were busy with taking photos of the panda, and they also placed their hand-made colorful stickers, printed with “happy birthday” on the hall's fence.
The three tourists from Tokyo visited Huai'an specially for the birthday of Long Bang, which was born in Adventure World in Shirahama, Wakayama, Japan in 2004 and then settled down in Huai'an after coming back to China in 2007.
One female tourist said that they have celebrated the panda's birthday every year since 2004 because Long Bang brought great joys to them during the four years stay in Japan.
Although it has returned to China, the panda is always like a family member in their hearts, so no matter how busy or how far away they will celebrate the birthday together.
