Hongze District Library Rated National First-class

The Jiangsu media reported on June 1 that the Hongze District Library was rated as a first-class library by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the third time for it to be rated as a national first-class library since 2010.
At present, there are more than 400,000 volumes of documents, more than 500 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, and over 30,000 readers with reading cards. The collections are all for open shelves and fully free of charge. At the same time, 11 branches and 43 service stations were established within the district. The library has offered an online portal, a digital service platform, and a WeChat-based service platform too. Each year, it organizes nearly 100 lectures, trainings, and exhibitions.
