The standing committee of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee held a meeting on the afternoon of May 28, with Yao Xiaodong, secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee, presiding over the meeting.
The conference pointed out that the entire city, especially the ideological and cultural front, should thoroughly study and comprehend the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches on cyber security and informationization, and constantly create a new situation in the related fields.
The meeting pointed out that efforts must be proceed from the overall interests of national unity and the fundamental interest of the country in planning and advancing the work on Taiwan under the framework of city's overall economic and social development. In particular, the city must introduce concrete measures to implement the "31 measures that benefit Taiwan compatriots", trying to take the lead in the province.
The meeting also heard reports on the building of the government ruled by law, heard reports on the drafting of the "Huai'an City High Quality Development Work Program", and heard and passed the "Implementation Opinions on Integrated Development of Economic Construction and National Defense Construction".
