A truck carrying 50 cases of Brazilian beef tendon pulled to a halt at the centralized supervision warehouse of cold chain food in Qingjiangpu District at 7:50 p.m. on January 11, which marked the opening of the first centralized supervision warehouse of cold chain food in Huai'an.

In order to prevent Covid-19 from spreading in a scientific, standardized, and orderly way, Qingjiangpu is the first district in Huai'an to promote centralized supervision of cold chain food. The warehouse, divided into different parts, is located in the north of Huaihai Road farmers' market, with a storage capacity of 180 tons. All imported cold chain food to Huai'an should be stored in this warehouse and is allowed to enter the market with a delivery certificate after tickets and certificates inspection, preventive disinfection, and nucleic acid sampling and testing. The management of cold chain food covers the whole import process so that the traceability of cold chain food can be guaranteed.
