Implementation Plan of Huai'an Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Cross-border E-commerce Approved by Jiangsu Provincial Government

Jiangsu Provincial Government recently issued the Implementation Plan of China (Huai'an) Comprehensive Experimental Zone for Cross-border E-commerce, which clarifies the guiding philosophy, basic principles, objectives and tasks, key work and safeguard measures for the construction of the pilot zone.

In the planning, Huai'an will comprehensively build six systems in information sharing, financial service, intelligent logistics, e-commerce credit, statistical monitoring, risk prevention and control, respectively, as well as two platforms of online integrated service and offline industrial clusters. The integrated development of industrial enterprises, foreign trade enterprises and cross-border e-commerce will be further promoted. Huai'an Pilot Zone will also be established into an industry cluster area for regional cross-border e-commerce, a demonstration area for foreign trade transformation and upgrading, as well as a trading center for import and export commodity. By 2025, the city will cultivate more than 5 industrial parks with different characteristics, 10 public overseas warehouses, and over 100 enterprises with certain scale and influence in cross-border e-commerce. It is expected to achieve an increase of over 20% in annual transaction volume, so as to promote high-quality development of the city.
