The 3rd China (Huai'an) International Food Expo will officially open on October 15, 2020, and the work of attracting investment and exhibitors is in full swing.
With the theme of "gathering high-end food and selecting exquisite food materials", the Expo is divided into three major parts, namely, theme exhibition, special meeting and food expo. This year, the offline exhibition area is 20,000 square meters, including five professional halls in overseas food, domestic food, Huai'an characteristic food, selected food materials and exotic food, respectively. Up to now, the business promotion work has been basically completed with 203 enterprises for the exhibition, including 31 of the world's top 500 and top 100 food enterprises and 38 domestic top 100 food enterprises. A number of international well-known food enterprises, such as Yizi, Yum, Oishi, Cargill, COFCO, Yihai Kerry, Ferrero, Yakult and Want Want, will be present. Japanese and Korean fine food brands including House, Kewpie, Takara, Edaesang, Nongshim, etc. will be also displayed and promoted.
61 special booths will be set up in the Overseas Food Hall, divided into international brand area, Taiwan area, Japan and South Korea area, cross-border e-commerce area and national area. Currently, 76 exhibitors have been confirmed for the presence in the hall. The Domestic Food Hall will set up 50 special booths with areas in domestic and provincial famous products, internet-famous food, dairy products, beverages and liquors, and 63 enterprises have been confirmed to participate. Huai'an Characteristic Food Hall, with 15 exhibitors confirmed now, will mainly focus on the agricultural products from the regional public brand "Huai'an Taste". It will also display the regional cooperative brands from cities along the Huai River Eco-economic Belt and the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, as well as the well-known brands from Huai'an itself. Another 50 enterprises have confirmed to join the rest two halls, which are Selected Food Materials Hall and Exotic Food Hall.
