On the morning of July 10, Yum China Holdings, Inc. announced a strategic partnership with Huai'an to set up an operation and management center with world-class integrated supply chain (Yum China Supply Chain Support Center in Northern Jiangsu).

The Support Center located in Huaiyin District, is mainly led by Huai'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Huai'an Municipal Service Center of Foreign Investment Promotion. It will cover an area of 41 Mu and is planned to be completed in 2022. As one of the important strategic arrangements of Yum China in China, the Center will rely on the company's professional management and operation experience in food supply chain as well as its cooperative suppliers, so as to build a management platform and a supply chain operation platform. All-round operation will be conducted through advanced systems, equipment and technology.

As the largest catering enterprise in China, Yum China sees the supply chain as the cornerstone of its growth. Over the past 30 years, it has invested a lot of resources, introduced world-class management experience and established an advanced supply chain management system, so the whole coverage was realized from supplier and upstream management, to logistics distribution management and then to value-added services. The Support Center will be the first self-built investment project of Yum China in the north of the Yangtze River, which will further make up for the weakness of Huai'an food industry in the supply chain, effectively improve its development and provide rare development opportunities in the field.
