From January to June 2020, 1,112 enterprise investment projects were approved and filed in Huai'an, an increase of 55 compared with the same period of the previous year. Their total investment (154.894 billion yuan) grew by 20.65% year on year. Among them, 104 projects were approved and 1,008 were filed, with a total investment of about 46.243 billion yuan and 108.651 billion yuan, respectively, covering industries such as real estate, chemicals, new energy, power grid engineering, medical treatment and education.

To be more specific, there are 96 primary (53 newly added), 758 secondary (7 newly added) and 258 (5 newly decreased) tertiary industry projects, with a total investment of 13.682 billion yuan, 81.811 billion yuan and 59.401 billion yuan, separately. Compared with the first half of last year, their shares changes into 9%, 53% and 38%, an increase of 35.05%, 21.22%, 17.02%, respectively.
