On December 3, the signing ceremony of the framework agreement for strategic cooperation between Huai'an and Nanjing University (NJU) was held in Xianlin Campus of NJU.

NJU will mainly focus on three aspects of work. One is to face the industry frontiers and enhance the ability to combine academic papers with the industrialization. It has explored a development path from basic research to technology creation and then to technology transformation, so as to realize the final industrialization. All links on this road need various resources. The successful signing of the framework agreement will surly lay a good foundation for the industrialization of NJU papers in Huai'an. The second is to orient its work towards education development and strengthen the ability to promote the coordinated development of Huai'an education. Huai'an is a major source of students for the University. One of the high-quality source bases for NJU is Huaiyin Middle School in Huai'an. Also, the number of the city's candidates admitted by NJU has been in the forefront of the province for many years. Therefore, it will continue to support the development of Huai'an basic education, which is not only conducive to the enrollment of more excellent Huai'an students, but also a highland for high-level talent gathering in the city. Third is to recognize Huai'an's social reality and improve the ability to solve problems at different levels. In close combination with the city's actual situation, NJU will further highlight the focus of its work, actively serve Huai'an with economic transformation and upgrading as well as innovative development, and help its enterprises better achieve the green, coordinated and sustainable development. To solve the practical difficulties of these enterprises, NJU will also aid Huai'an with new technologies so as to gain more invaluable assets as well as lucid waters and lush mountains, and make greater contribution to the overall construction of Huai'an in the new era.
