On November 23, 2019 Jiangsu-Taiwan (Huai'an) Youth Elites Summit was successfully held in Huai'an. More than 50 young talents and college students from Taiwan, and 200 youth representatives of Jiangsu Province got together in Huai'an to trace the canal culture and discuss innovation and entrepreneurship.
The summit was jointly sponsored by Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Committee of the Communist Youth League, Jiangsu Youth Federation and Huai'an Municipal government, and organized by Huai'an Committee of the Communist Youth League, Taiwan Affairs Office of Huai'an, Huai'an Youth Federation and the Huaiyin Institute of Technology. Huai'an has held this summit for seven consecutive years, which is aimed to strengthen the emotional exchanges across the strait and promote entrepreneurship and development of the youth in Jiangsu and Taiwan. A series of activities were held in this summit from November 19 to 24 including special training camp for youth innovation and entrepreneurship, lectures, cultural experiencing, and so on, efficiently promoting the communication between young people and college students in Jiangsu and Taiwan.
