According to the statistics from Huai'an Customs, the export of Huai'an in the first ten months to 64 Belt and Road countries reaches 5.65 billion yuan, a significant increase of 28.2% over the same period of last year, accounting for 29.5% of the total export value of Huai'an. The export to Vietnam, Indonesia and India is 1.69 billion, 390 million and 390 million yuan, up 150%, 3.4% and 4% respectively.

In recent years, more and more countries have responded actively to the Belt and Road Initiative, which has promoted the involvement of electronic information manufacturing industry of Huai'an in the global industrial division. For example, the export of mobile phone parts, connectors and data lines produced by the mobile phone parts manufacturing enterprises in Huai'an increased by more than 30%. The trade of Huai'an with the Belt and Road countries has accelerated in recent years.
