In order to enhance the comprehensive intervention in children's oral diseases and promote their healthy growth, Huai'an launched on October 11 the comprehensive intervention project for children's oral diseases in 2019. From today to May 31, 2020, Huai'an Stomatological Hospital will be carrying out oral health education on primary and secondary school students in Huai'an, implementing free pit and fissure sealants for children aged 7-9, and offering free fluoride varnish to kindergarten children aged 3-6.
The project is implemented in two ways: first, Huai'an Stomatological Hospital will arrange medical vehicles to some schools for centralized diagnosis and treatment; second, parents may choose to go to children's department of dentistry on the fourth floor of Huai'an Stomatological Hospital on weekend for treatment.
