Social Practice Platforms for 1280 Rural Left-behind Children to Be Built in Huai'an

Recently, Huai'an Civil Affairs Bureau, Education Bureau and Finance Bureau jointly issued Notice on "Accompany"- Care Activity for Rural Left-behind Children, arranging 500,000 yuan of municipal welfare fund to build social practice platforms for rural left-behind children by cooperating with Huai'an Youth Comprehensive Practice Base.

The project covers 1280 rural left-behind children in the whole city, aiming at establishing and improving the working mechanism of their off-campus practical education, extending their subject knowledge and cultivating their practice and innovation abilities. The project activities include creative engineering, rocket production and launch, satellite production, survival rescue, space travel, fire drill, law education, outreach training and moot court. Research and study at educational practice sites is also on the list. These activities will be held once a month for four days each, from September 20 to December 20.
