According to the statistics from the Huai'an Customs, the import and export in Huai'an from January to July reached 18.14 billion yuan, down 2% year on year. Export amounted to 13.03 billion yuan, an increase of 7.6%, while imports totaled 5.11 billion yuan, a decrease of 20.1%. The import from and export to 64 countries along the belt and road increased by 17.7%. The export of mechanical and electrical products maintained a good momentum of growth, up 23.1%, and accounting for 39.5% of the total export value.
