At 12:05 on August 2, China Eastern Airlines flight MU2617 landed safely at Huai'an Airport, marking the official opening of Huai'an-Beihai route.

The opening of Huai'an-Beihai route further expands the route network of Huai'an Airport, which will be more convenient for the travelers in Huai'an and its surrounding areas. The route has four flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays respectively: Huai'an-Beihai (11:15-15:40) and Beihai-Huai'an (17:15-21:25).
