In recent years, Huai'an has attached great importance to developing twin town ties with the cities along the Belt and Road. All-round and practical cooperation with its sister cities in various fields has been carried out, effectively promoting the overall diplomatic strategy of China. To advance the cooperation with these cities in industries, economy, trade, and culture, a delegation headed by Yao Xiaodong, Secretary of the Huai'an Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China paid a visit to Belarus and Bulgaria from July 10 to 17, which produced fruitful results. Vice Mayor Gu Kun was in the delegation too. The delegation is visiting the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Industry and Commerce as is shown in the picture.
