time:2019-06-04

More than 120 climbers from Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hunan and other regions participated in the Huai'an leg of the 2019 China Climbing League from May 31 to June 2.

The competition included four events – men's speed, women's speed, men's combined (lead and boulder), and women's combined (lead and boulder).

The city's Huai'an District built the first rock climbing base in northern Jiangsu in 2018 and has successively hosted important contests such as the "Belt and Road" International Climbing Masters Competition and the first Youth Climbing Championships in Jiangsu Province. It also has played a role in promoting climbing into schools, an initiative that won the title of Yangtze River Delta Rock Climbing Development Demonstration Zone issued by the Chinese Mountaineering Association.
