A flash mob took place at the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall on May 2, when students, police officers and volunteers joined thousands of tourists around the hall, avenue, exhibition area and a square to sing patriotic songs such as "I Love You, China".

A large national flag at 30 meters long and 20 meters wide was also displayed at the semicircular square while more than 300 middle school students formed the pattern of 70, as this year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China.
