The Zhongzhou Island in the middle of Li Canal hosts a lantern show to mark the traditional Lantern Festival in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, February 19, 2019. Li Canal is part of the Grand Canal linking Beijing and Hangzhou, the longest man-made waterway in the world. As an innovative breakthrough, the lantern showed featured Huai'an's unique culture and incorporated new fashion ideas. It allowed visitors to seem to have a time travel by following the tours of emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties, gaining a sense of the area's past glory of dazzling lights and busy ships in the water.
