Farmers are busy with harvesting and selling the Chinese cabbage in Huaihe Town, Xuyi County, Huai'an, November 27, 2018, ahead of Major Snow, which is one of the 24 solar terms and falls on December 7 this year. The county is expected to have a bumper harvest of Chinese cabbage this year, with the output on a cultivation area of 1,333 hectares estimated at 150 million kilograms. Since 2016, the town has inked deals with South Korea and Japan, grown Chinese cabbage according to overseas purchase orders, and also established a smooth logistics and sales network to maximize the benefits of vegetable farmers.
