Fruitful Results Made in Qingjiangpu District's Delegation to Taiwan
A delegation of Qingjiangpu District of Huai'an City recently visited Taiwan for cultural exchange and trade cooperation.
The 7-day tour included four meetings, visits to three industrial associations and six companies, and signing of two agreements involving investment of 12 billion yuan and 1.3 billion yuan respectively.
The economic and trade delegation paid visits to the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Unicon Vision Corp., China Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Culture, and Hsinchu Science Park.
Unicon plans to start a project in Qingjiangpu with a planned investment of more than 1.3 billion yuan in three phases. The first phase will be launched at the end of this year, with an investment of 200 million yuan, followed by an investment of 950 million yuan in the second phase starting from January next year and 240 million yuan of investment in the third phase from next July. The annual output value of the project is estimated to reach 2.4 billion yuan and the tax revenue will be about 200 million yuan.
The district also signed with an automobile new energy project involving an investment of 12 billion yuan.
