Huai'an Enjoys a Vibrant Cultural Tourism Market During the Spring Festival Holiday

During the Spring Festival holiday, Huai'an enjoys a lively and peaceful New Year atmosphere. According to preliminary estimates, the number of tourists received in the city and the comprehensive tourism revenue increased by 24.74% and 25.62%, respectively, on a comparable year-on-year basis.

During the Spring Festival holiday, the number of tourists received and the revenue achieved by the 61 scenic spots and key rural tourism villages included in its statistics increased by 39.46% and 45.70% year-on-year, respectively. The Memorial Hall of Zhou Enlai, Zhou Enlai's former residence, and the former site during Zhou Enlai's studenthood became popular destinations, attracting visitors from across China to commemorate the great figure and draw spiritual strength. Xiyou World of Adventure, Glorious Orient, Huai'an Boonie Bears Land, and the Dragon Palace Ocean World in Huai'an became broadly popular as preferred destinations for many citizens and tourists to travel with their families. In the Qingjiangpu Scenic Area of the Liyunhe Canal Cultural Corridor, the "Wan Shi Da Ji" market opened lively, integrating the canal's beautiful scenery with special products and interesting games. The 3rd Canal Lantern Festival was held at the Caoyun Gate of Huai'an, where three characteristic areas were crowded: The lantern group exhibition area, the Yunyexi Market, and the Xi Ski Resort. Hexia Ancient Town, the First Mountain Scenic Spot of Xuyi, and Shen Kun's Zhuangyuan Mansion created an immersive nighttime atmosphere of light and shadow, enabling citizens and tourists to experience a different New Year in Huai'an amid the brilliant scenery.

During the Spring Festival holiday, 31 public cultural venues (including 14 registered cultural and museum venues) and 95 cultural stations in Huai'an held 607 cultural activities, attracting 707,500 participants.
