To effectively advance the grassroots medical service enhancement project and deliver high-quality medical services to the doorsteps of the people, the Huai'an Municipal Health Commission launched the 2026 Regular Mobile Medical Service Program in January this year. The mobile medical service program facilitates municipal-level assistance to counties, county-level assistance to towns, and town-level support to villages, covering multidisciplinary experts from medical institutions at all levels. It is aimed at effectively bringing high-quality medical resources—including experts, technology, management, and services—to the grassroots level to achieve full coverage of mobile medical services in towns, sub-districts, villages, and communities. In January, seven municipal hospitals, 11 county-level medical consortium leading hospitals, and 104 township health centers (community service centers) conducted more than 400 mobile medical activities at the grassroots level, serving more than 5,000 people.
Medical institutions of all levels and types in the city have simultaneously launched mobile medical services, forming a systematic and regular mobile medical service mechanism. The city will launch a mobile medical service campaign on February 20 (the fourth day of the first lunar month) called "Healthy New Year—Quality Medical Services to the Grassroots." Citizens can follow the campaign through the WeChat official accounts of the county (district) health commissions and medical institutions.
