In 2025, the Huai'an Municipal Committee for the Wellbeing of the Next Generation unswervingly advanced its development based on Party building, focused on cultivating morality and educating people, and achieved remarkable results in its work.

The Committee strengthened ideological guidance. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it carried out a series of thematic education activities jointly with the education departments, held Party history knowledge competitions involving both young and old generations and various performance events, and solicited contributions under the theme "Dream of a Country Strong in Science and Technology," receiving nearly 5,800 essays and calligraphy and painting works.

The Committee built a strong off-campus network. It built 1,018 tutoring stations, bringing together retirees from five categories—retired cadres, military personnel, experts, teachers, and models—and teachers and volunteers, totaling nearly 10,000 people, to serve more than 600,000 adolescents annually. It issued the tutoring station working procedures and carried out on-site acceptance of 7 off-campus labor education centers.

The Committee implemented a series of initiatives to promote mental health. It formed a group of adolescent mental health lecturers to give lectures in schools, carried out activities such as the Mental Health Publicity Month and special seminars, and set up "Sunshine Mental Health Stations" at off-campus education tutoring stations.

The Committee deepened legal assistance. It cooperated with the political and legal departments to promote the "Law Education for a Better Tomorrow" adolescent-oriented publicity on the rule of law, adhered to the deep integration of legal awareness education and family education, and promoted the successful experience of "pairing for supporting vulnerable groups, providing assistance, facilitating rehabilitation." It also compiled and printed the album "Parental Love" to strengthen judicial protection and social care for adolescents.

The Committee gathered the power of retirees. It mobilized retirees from the above-mentioned five categories to provide practical support for adolescents and young workers. In the fields related to education, the private economy, agricultural and rural development, and ex-service personnel, the Committee played its role to help growth. It consistently carried out poverty alleviation and education assistance, raising about RMB 91 million in the past five years, and coordinated RMB 1 million to carry out a thousand-person education assistance program in 2025.
