In recent years, Huai'an Supply and Marketing Cooperative has coordinated and integrated system resources to continuously build a comprehensive platform that supports both farmers' production and livelihoods, while advancing modern agricultural development. With more practical initiatives, Huai'an has driven high-quality development, benefitted a broad base of farmers and facilitated the seamless integration of smallholder farmers into modern agricultural production.

In response to "who should farm and how to farm scientifically," a typical issue of the time, Huai'an Supply and Marketing Cooperative focuses on building a comprehensive agricultural service chain, with an average annual growth rate of 11.6% in the scale of agricultural social services. It has innovated in the mechanism for ensuring the supply of agricultural materials and established a supply and marketing alliance for agricultural materials. The services for agricultural material enterprises have been improving with expanding service scopes and richer service content. Moreover, Huai'an continues to implement centralized procurement, benefiting farmers and saving more than RMB 30 million in annual costs.

Huai'an adheres to a two-pronged approach, ensuring the supply of agricultural materials and providing technical services. It has deepened cooperation with leading agricultural material enterprises in promoting green agricultural materials and advanced technologies. The crop professionals at Huai'an Supply and Marketing Cooperative have received 100,000 consultation requests from farmers and conducted over 200 technical training sessions. Moreover, it has cooperated with PetroChina Huai'an Oilfield Company in implementing the "Five Measures to Help Farmers and Support for Three Years" action to provide considerate services such as door-to-door oil delivery for various agricultural operators. The Hongze District Supply and Marketing Cooperative has promoted a full-service land trusteeship pilot program, offering all-inclusive management for nearly 30,000 mu of farmland and reducing costs by approximately RMB 100 per mu. A series of short videos, including "Lao Sun from the Supply and Marketing Cooperative Talks about Farming" and "Gold Medal Agricultural Services for Farming," extensively disseminates agricultural technology knowledge to support farmers in adopting scientific farming practices. Huai'an has actively promoted the recycling of pesticide packaging waste and used agrarian film to establish a green circular service system, contributing to the development of ecological agriculture.
