On October 14, as a sub-activity of the 2025 Huai'an Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Symposium for Investment Promotion, the "Gathering Strength and Setting Sail, Shaping the Future with Quality" 2025 Huai'an Polyurethane Industry High-Quality Development Seminar was held in Huai'an Industrial Park, building a "government-industry-academia-research-finance" multi-party collaborative innovation platform to inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the polyurethane industry.

Representatives from industry associations, universities, enterprises, and media participating in the conference visited the polyurethane industrial park and the emergency command center, and directly experienced the booming development trend of the polyurethane industry in Huai'an Industrial Park and the high-quality and efficient investment environment. In recent years, Huai'an Industrial Park has focused on the industrial development of new materials, taking the polyurethane industry as the core focus to accurately attract key enterprises in the polyurethane industry chain and efficiently promote the planning and construction of the polyurethane industrial park. The city has achieved full coverage of the polyurethane industry chain and has formed distinctive industrial systems in sub-sectors such as functional new materials and polyether polyurethane. It is gradually growing into an important cluster for the national polyurethane industry.

During the event, the Huai'an Polyurethane Industrial Park White Paper was released, the High-Tech Research Institute of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology unveiled its Huai'an Polyurethane Engineering and Intelligent Materials Technology Transfer Center, and 10 projects of the polyurethane industrial park, as well as several strategic cooperation agreements and talent and financial empowerment cooperation projects, were signed.
