Diverse Consumer Scenes Ignite the Vibrant Urban Life of Huai'an

According to preliminary statistics, 22 key commercial enterprises in Huai'an achieved the total sales of RMB 365 million from October 1 to 7, representing a 31.5% increase compared with the same period last year. During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Huai'an boosted consumer enthusiasm through multiple initiatives such as consumption subsidies, sports event collaborations, and themed markets.

From September 5 to December 31, the Huai'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with relevant counties and districts, launched the Huai'an Auto Renewal and Consumption Promotion Campaign. During the campaign period, individual consumers who purchase passenger vehicles with up to seven seats from auto sales enterprises in Huai'an are eligible to receive consumption subsidies ranging from RMB 1,000 to RMB 8,000 across five tiers. At the same time, the bureau has deepened its strategic cooperation with the People's Bank of China Huai'an Branch and state-owned commercial banks to jointly introduce the "Autumn Auto Consumption Financial Support" program.

At 7:35 p.m. on October 7, the quarterfinal match of the "Jiangsu Football City League" was held at the Nantong Sports Convention and Exhibition Center Stadium, where the Huai'an team played an away game against the Nantong team. Although Huai'an did not win the match, the players' determined performance, together with the enthusiastic support from local residents in the "secondary viewing areas," vividly demonstrated the city's resilience. According to monitoring data from the Huai'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, on October 7, the day of the away match, the city's 18 major commercial complexes and night economy clusters achieved total sales of RMB 40.65 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 31% and a 21.8% increase compared with the same day last month. Across Huai'an, 24 key "secondary viewing areas" attracted a total of 370,000 spectators, up 27.1% from the previous period.

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the 3rd Qingjiangpu Canal Coffee Culture Market and the 2nd Wake Up Bread Lifestyle Market made a spectacular debut in the Dutianfang Street District. The market brought together more than 60 brands, featuring coffee, bread, cultural and creative handicrafts, and specialty dining. In addition, performances by the "South Boat North Horse Band," street dance flash mobs, canal scroll painting experiences, and outdoor film screenings were held in succession, offering residents and visitors a cultural and tourism feast that intertwines tradition with modernity.
