On May 20th, a collective graduation ceremony for college graduates of the Class of 2025 in Huai'an, themed "From Youth in Huai'an to A Brilliant Future," took place at the Jiangsu College of Nursing. Gu Kun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huai'an, delivered the keynote address, and the event was attended by municipal leaders, heads of provincial higher education institutions based in Huai'an, key officials from municipal universities and colleges, approximately 3,200 graduates, and representatives from various sectors.

Mayor Gu Kun began by extending warm congratulations and sincere wishes to the 31,596 graduates who are about to embark on new chapters in their lives. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated faculty and staff, as well as to all members of society who have supported the high-quality development of education in Huai'an. In his address to the graduates, he stated:
