On the morning of May 13, the 5th Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention opened, themed "Connecting Jiangsu-Anhui, Winning the Future with Intelligence". Nearly 300 business guests from around the globe gathered in Huai'an to discuss development, create a cooperative "circle of unity", and build a "bridge of connection" between government and enterprises.

The opening ceremony of this convention included speeches from guest representatives, industry development promotions, and the signing of major projects. From January to April, Huai'an City signed 339 projects worth over RMB 100 million, with a total investment agreement of RMB 171.3 billion. Various counties, districts, and parks organized on-site inspections and supply chain matchmaking activities based on local industrial development. Notable events included an investment environment briefing for the new materials industry in the Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, a semiconductor industry chain matchmaking meeting in Qingjiangpu District, a special investment promotion event for the optoelectronic industry in Huai'an District, an automotive parts industry exchange meeting in Huaiyin District, a chemical fiber filament weaving industry chain investment briefing in Hongze District, a summit on the ecological construction and high-quality development of fiberglass composite materials in Lianshui County, an investment promotion meeting for high-end equipment manufacturing in Xuyi County, an investment briefing for the petroleum machinery industry in Jinhu County, and a themed event for the automotive industry chain in Huai'an Industrial Park. These efforts aim to facilitate precise matching of supply chains and empower local high-quality development.

In recent years, the Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention has successfully held four sessions, resulting in a cumulative total of 416 project signings with investment agreements exceeding RMB 350 billion, becoming an important platform for Chinese entrepreneurs and renowned enterprises to participate in and support regional economic development.
