Huai'an City Records a Total of 229,800 Passenger Departures during the Qingming Festival Holiday

During the Qingming Festival holiday, Huai'an City recorded a total of 229,800 passenger departures, marking a year-on-year increase of 1.82%.

In terms of railways, a total of 217,200 passengers arrived and departed, showing a year-on-year increase of 3.08%. Among them, the city recorded a total of 118,800 passenger departures and a total of 98,400 passenger arrivals. On April 6, the Huai'an East High Speed Railway Station recorded a total of over 80,000 passenger arrivals and departures for the first time, hitting a record high.

In terms of aviation, there were 164 flights in and out of the airport, with 17,800 passengers arriving and departing, up 31.53% year-on-year. Among them, there were 10,500 outbound passengers and 7,300 inbound passengers.

In terms of road passenger transport, a total of 3,000 intercity passenger transport vehicles were put into operation, 5,900 trips were operated, and a total of 100,500 passengers were transported.

In terms of urban passenger transport, a total of 4,600 buses were put into use, with a total passenger volume of 860,100, marking a year-on-year increase of 31.2%. A total of 800 tram trips were operated, with a passenger volume of 124,000, showing a year-on-year increase of 2.99%. A total of 6,600 taxis were put into use, with a passenger volume of 264,100, marking a year-on-year decrease of 14.77%.
