The 2025 Huai'an Xiyou World of Adventure Huai'an Marathon and Grand Canal Marathons (Huai'an) are certified by the Chinese Athletics Association, guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau, and hosted by the Huai'an Municipal People's Government. The scale of the event reached a new high, attracting more than 100,000 people from 20 countries and regions around the world to sign up. Finally, 20,000 participants were selected, including 7,000 for the full marathon, 6,000 for the half marathon, and 7,000 for the health run. The race will start at 7:30 on April 13, continuing the classic track of previous years. The starting point of the Huai'an Marathon is set at the Huai'an Municipal Government Affairs Service Center. The finish line for the full marathon and half marathon is set at the Huai'an Sports Center, while the finish line for the health run is set at the Huai'an Grand Theater. In addition, the event introduced a new gameplay of "running group competition within competition", which is open to all participants to form teams and compete in groups. The top three teams will receive prizes of RMB 10,000, RMB 8,000 and RMB 6,000 respectively.

To ensure the safety of the event, the organizing committee will coordinate and deploy more than 7,800 police and security personnel, arrange 70 medical runners and more than 600 medical observers, and set up 25 fixed medical points and 24 ambulances (including 1 ECOM car team) along the track. Based on previous sessions, the event has innovatively set up theme tracks such as music performances, national fitness performances, intangible cultural heritage displays, and Huai'an food supplies to better display the image of Huai'an while serving runners.

During the event, participants can visit 38 A-level tourist attractions in Huai'an for free with their entry information and ID cards, and enjoy ticket purchase discounts at scenic spots such as Huai'an Xiyou World of Adventure and Dragon Palace Ocean World. The organizing committee will also coordinate to optimize bus routes and open a free shuttle special line for participants to register. The special line covers Huai'an Lianshui International Airport and Huai'an East High Speed Railway Station to the main venue. Free rides on urban trams and buses will be provided during the event from April 11 to 13.
